This day in #F1 history – 13th May 1950 – The inaugural F1 Race

The first Official Formula 1 race was run today in 1950. The race had 22 entries and interestingly no car run the number 13. Giuseppe Farina took Pole position and went on to Win the race.

Elvis Presley in a McLaren

Interesting Classic #F1 fact – McLaren’s First World Champion
